Important information

There is a meeting for all new band and orchestra parents on Thursday, Sept. 10, in the Thomas W Holtzman Cafeteria.

The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m.

This meeting will share information about the program; including the materials and books needed for lessons, how lessons work during the school day, and the expectations for students. You will have an opportunity to rent an instrument from the Horn Hospital, a local music store.

The Horn Hospital services Thomas Holtzman Elementary School on a weekly basis. If you want to purchase anything musical, you can order it from them and they will deliver it to the school for your convenience.

Ask them to include the method book, "Standard of Excellence Book 1" and a collapsible wire stand.

Reminders: Make sure you include the method book, "Standard of Excellence, book 1" for you rented instrument. You also need a music stand. I suggest the collapsible wire stand. I also strongly suggest you purchase the repair/replace option.
